Paint Nite | Drink Creatively!

Paint Nite | Drink Creatively!

A few nights ago we finally got an artistic taste of the social painting phenomenon that’s been all the craze. That’s right, Paint Nite has come to Toronto and let me tell you, it is THE BOMB!

Our Buytopia friends offered to let us try the event (you can currently purchase tickets through their website). For approximately 2 hours, a professional artist will guide you from a blank canvas to a final masterpiece. You don’t need to be a professional artist or even have background in art. Everyone on the DRex team knows I can’t draw a decent stick man and I’m always chosen last for Pictionary. :( Anyway, choose by difficulty level (easy to moderate) or by the picture you want to paint, grab some of your friends and enjoy a night of drinks and painting. The motto of Paint Nite is “Drink Creatively” — the more you drink, the better your art will become. At the end of the night, you can take your 16-inch x 20-inch canvas (provided) home and hang it up, give it away, or sell it – it’s entirely up to you.

What I like the most about Paint Nite is that it’s hosted at a local bistro. So it’s also an amazing way to check out new places around town and meet some fun people.

Each event costs $45 but if you head over to Buytopia, you can purchase tickets for $25! Get the deal HERE. It’s a pretty sweet deal. At the end of the night, you’ll be surprised at how artistic you can be (when you’re drinking them drinks).

The muses have called and it’s time to get painting! Check out our photos below for Paint Nite at Banu on Queen West!
