On August 28, 2013, I dragged my best girlfriend to the Exclusive Pink Martini Launch Party to preview their Fall/Winter and Holiday 2013 Collection at Neubacher Shor Contemporary. Founded in 2006 by Amir Bahar, this Canadian women’s label has definitely skyrocketed in popularity over the years. If you’re a huge fan of shopping on Mod Cloth or PiperLime, you might already be familiar with this brand. Anyway, the designs are inspired by Amir’s travels and being a globetrotter myself, I think he did a pretty good job fusing trends from Korea, Paris, Italy and Spain.

What I love best from this collection is the mix between vintage and modern. The collection is also well balanced with flirty yet edgier pieces that could easily be mixed and matched for any occasion. At the launch, they showcased 5 unique looks that guests could share on Instagram with the hashtag “#Talesof…”.

My favourite was the Wanderlust Traveler.

Throughout the night, the atmosphere was definitely lively with laughs, smiles and light conversation about the collection. The fun food bites that were floating about along with the wine was a nice touch. I almost felt like I was at a super slumber party. Well, a fashionable slumber party since no one came in their PJs. Thank goodness for that!

To finish the night off, every guest was gifted with some swag from the collection. I got a vintage inspired silk blouse with gold tipped collars. It fits perfectly and it’s so comfortable! I can’t wait to see what else Pink Martini has in store for the coming seasons! Enjoy the photos & be inspired!
