Chivas 1801 presents ‘The Art of Living’ | with special appearance by K-OS

It was the best Chivas Regal event Dinosaurus Rex attended to date.

Finishing off a series of Toronto events that started in the fall, the scotch maker launched their finale party at the Gardiner Museum last Thursday (Jan 24th).

Chivas Regal Scotch - 1801 - Gardiner Museum - Toronto, Canada

‘The Art of Living’ was the theme of the night – nothing like fine scotch, cigars and an attractive guest list to make you feel livelier. Similar to other Chivas nights we’ve attended, there was lots to see and do. It was a blast catching up with some old friends and perusing the various vendor stations set up around the venue.

Highlights:

  1. I learned that cigars and 25-year-old scotch make me feel like Clint Eastwood - the two go so well together… a rugged and badass combination.
  2. Celebs were in attendance – Canadian singer, K-OS performed a short and sweet acoustic set for the party-goers. We even spotted Kardinal Offishall mingling in the crowd.
  3. My best buddy, Karl, finally got his ‘man-burns’ trimmed –The rockstar staff from Mankind gave him some great self-grooming tips.
  4. I had my suit size measured up at the Gotstyle booth by some lovely ladies – looking forward to picking up some new office threads.
  5. Aromachology offered free personalized perfume and cologne – I thought this was really unique. I had a small bottle made for the lady-friend… Valentine’s gift idea!

There were some great gift bags being handed out at the end of the night. Unfortunately they had just run out before we got one. It was a great party and we stayed late, so there are no complaints.
