Summer Soiree w/ Omega Group & Evolution PR

Summer Soiree w/ Omega Group & Evolution PR

Last Thursday, I was really bummed that I didn’t attend the Chivas 1801 Scotch party that Karl went to cover. I was feeling under the weather that day and ended up missing out on a very fun and sophisticated night. Instead, I traded in my sophistication belt for a Die Hard movie marathon and triple-cheese Dr. Oetker pizza.

This wasn’t going to happen for a second night in a row! On Friday June 15th, I made it my mission to come out and attend the Omega Group & Evolution PR Summer Soiree at the historic Berkeley Church.

Berkeley Church

I had first heard about Omega Group when they threw their inaugural launch event at The Carlu last summer. I didn’t get a chance to attend, however I heard it was a great party. For those unfamiliar – Massoud Abassi, Founder and President of Omega Group, says it best:

“Omega Group is about bringing together influential Torontonians for a refined evening of networking. We’re providing a social platform for sophisticated Torontonians to professionally network and meet like-minded individuals”

The group aims to create exclusive social events for professionals that boast the same calibre as those from New York, London and Paris.

Sounds awesome, doesn’t it? It was!

Soiree Partygoers

The night had a great mix of good-looking partygoers with various professional backgrounds. Karl and I had a chance to mix and mingle with the best and made quite a few new friends along the way.

There were some great eats such as high-end treats provided by Purdy’s Chocolates and complimentary Perrier water.

I’m all about the music too – DJ Lissa Monet (4x DJ Stylus award winner) provided great rhythm while a saxist supported her beats and got the partygoers dancing.

No more boring nights with Dr. Oetker pizza for me!

If Omega Group can throw another party like their Summer Soiree, you can guarantee that I’ll be there. Cheers to Massoud Abassi and his team at Omega Group for creating something unique that this city could definitely see more of.
